Trinidad Triggers Roll Past Grand Junction, 15-5
The Trinidad Triggers scored in five of the first seven innings and defeated the Grand Junction Razorback Suckers 15-5 on July 12, 2026.
Trinidad took control immediately with two runs in the first inning and added two more in the second. The Triggers pushed across another run in the third and three in the fourth to build an 8-0 advantage.
The game broke open in the seventh inning when Trinidad erupted for seven runs, extending its lead to 15-0. Brody Rasmussen, Wyatt Morgan and Jeremiah Cabuyban powered the Triggers offense throughout the game.
Rasmussen went 3-for-5 with a home run, three runs scored and three RBI. Morgan also collected three hits, scored three times and drove in two runs. Cabuyban finished 2-for-3 with a home run, two runs scored and four RBI. Will Hudler added two hits and two RBI, while Chris Viamonte scored three runs.
Brian Pirone dominated on the mound for Trinidad, carrying a shutout into the ninth inning. He worked 8 2/3 innings, allowing five hits and five runs, only two earned, while striking out 12 and walking four. Chip White recorded the final out.
Grand Junction was held scoreless through eight innings before scoring all five of its runs in the ninth. Jordan Hodges delivered the biggest blow with a three-run home run. Basiel Williams also homered and drove in a run, while Champ Garner added an RBI.
Trinidad finished with 12 hits and took advantage of nine walks. Grand Junction managed five hits and committed two errors.
